WELCOME TO LYNN HOUSTON

Lynn is available for a limited number of dates during 2009 onwards to deliver whole-school training for individual schools or small clusters of schools.

She is currently Assistant Head Teacher at Anglesey Primary School, Lozells, Inner City, Birmingham.  and has 32 years of teaching experience in Handsworth and Lozells, covering KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 (to GCSE level).
Lynn  also has 15 years experience as a member of the Section 11 team, working in primary and secondary schools.
Her recent, relevant and excellent teaching, together with effective managerial approaches, has resulted in a Value Added Score for Angelsey of at least 101 for the past 4 years.
Anglesey has  almost 100% E.A.L. intake and Lynn’s experience of implementing strategies to raise, sustain and manage literacy standards make her an ideal choice for whole school training.

Her specialist area is:

‘Sustainable Approaches to Raising Achievement in Writing: Nursery—Year 6’ and ‘Assessing Writing using AFL and APP Strategies’.

Lynn’s  charge is £750 per school for one school, £600 per school if two schools cluster (PLUS VAT – RECLAIMABLE BY THE SCHOOL), accommodation, if necessary, the night before, plus travel and photocopying expenses.
