SUPER TILES

£0.79

Finding high quality iPad apps takes time and effort.  We’ve done our research and here’s one of the simple, and yet powerful, iPad apps that we really like from Interactive Resources.

Super Tiles is a game for one player (against the computer) or two players (against each other).  The screen displays the numbers 1 – 30 and the aim of the game is to claim three numbers in a row in any direction.

These numbers are claimed by using the numbers displayed on the three dice rolled (by the iPad) in your turn and then any combination of the four operations.  Even brackets can be utilized in this open ended, strategic game of calculation.  Do you cunningly block your opponent or do you strike for victory?  Played in pairs or half a whole class verses the other half in a mental starter battle!  A great game for the classroom, and, like many maths apps, a great one to take home and challenge a parent or sibling!  So simple, and yet so powerful!
