The UNDERPANTS OF BILLY BLYTHE
This is the tale of Billy Blythe
Whose underpants...they came to life!
Billy's underpants could walk,
Billy's underpants could talk,
Billy's underpants could run
Pants have never had such fun,
They set unrivalled heights of style,
Superman wore his on the outside for a while.
But people were not used to this,
Their cruel ways stopped a life of bliss,
When those pants stepped into a bar
The regulars would laugh 'Ha ha!'
But soon the sight of his elasticated waist
Would put those regulars firmly in their place
And yet people still would point and stare
You'd think they'd never seen underwear
This put Billy's pants under terrible stress
A happy life became a mess,
You'd often hear them stop and sigh
And without words they'd ask you why,
So if you meet them out one night
Don't be surprised, don't have a fright
Just say 'Hello' and be their friend
And make this poem have a happy end!
